could contact and were constantly in touch with once reunion was fixed: 55 members
it took nearly six months to plan and execute.
It all started with a phone call “hello is this rajesh Kulkarni”, “yes, speaking”, “rajesh this is farooque and vijay rapole is with me”,”oh, farooque after so many years and how you got my mobile number”,”see rajesh we are planning a gettogether of xth batch and we need your help so come down to Nanded and we will discuss”. So next Sunday i was at Nanded in farooque’s gold shop.vijay rapole joined us.He had already gone to school, met the staff and extracted list of our batch.The list had 78 names.We started with eliminating those who died and the big question was how do we extract phone numbers, addresses of all our dear friends. So we contacted their parents, brothers, friends, neighbours and the list of contacts was growing day by day, my visits to Nanded increased from once in a month to twice a week. Sessions at farooque’s shop increased from one hour in the beginning to more than four hours. The most difficult task was reaching out to girls from our class but luckily we could get volunteers in the form of vaishali andhure and vaishali khanapure, sharda kamble who were in constant touch with us as well were continuously motivating other girls. We again went to school and took contact numbers of all the teachers who retired as we wanted to invite our teachers also. Then we called all our local friends to discuss about reunion.So we gathered at hotel chandralok and nearly twenty members joined that day.

We had arranged a separate magic show and puppet show at the venue for our children so that they also get entertained.
Approximate Expenditure
• Rs.5000/- for magic show and puppet show
• Rs.10000/- for photos and video shooting
• Rs.10000/- for invitations, felicitation expenses for our teachers
• Rs.50000/- for food and hall booked at hotel city pride
We raised the money by collecting Rs.2000/- form each of our willing classmates and who could afford. Rest of the money we gave from our pockets.
Benefits
• We once again lived the golden moments with our school friends.
• Our teachers thanked us for making their reunion also possible.
• Our children could see we too were children at heart, could joke, could fight, could have friends, could cry.
• A new bond was established, and now we have confidence that if we face any problem our friends are there to reach out.
Careers
• Some settled down in US, Gulf,Mumbai, pune, Nagpur, Hyderabad
• Most of the backbenchers were earning good money as they joined their family business.
• Some were doctors
• One of them became MLA
