THREE Ws (WHAT WHY WHO)
Born in the year 1971, aged 37 though many feel I look older than what I claim when i look back and ask myself WHAT I learned? The answer comes as:
• TINA (there is no alternative) for hard work, self discipline.
• One who doesn’t work hard in his childhood, during schooling necessarily has to work harder in his later stages to make a career and he regrets his entire life “I missed the bus, I wasted my time, my parents should have disciplined me”
• Human mind is also like a computer, it has to be programmed with positive thoughts, dreams, agendas, plans, goals, honesty, ethics, and better presentation thru proper clothes, good body odor and good body language. This will be specially useful for people who have a habit of living in the past, blaming one and all for their failures and are filled with negative thoughts and express negative thoughts
• If you are a leader, Principal, HOD, Manager, Boss then lead by example, give credit to your subordinates and take responsibility for all the failures, be clear while assigning a task about deadlines, what you want and pursue them. Don’t be harsh to your subordinates, sweet talk to them and don’t keep them idle or overburdened, give them suitable tasks and appreciate them if they do well , reprimand them if they don’t do well.
• Talk less; know when to talk and what to talk.
• Keep your learning button always on, learn new skills, and acquire additional qualifications.
WHAT i learned working under prominent professors in various engineering colleges?
• Cajole students, give them marks, help them but never believe them.
• Take classes regularly, cover syllabus, make your class interesting.
• Be research oriented and learn new technologies.
• Form committees and let the committee take decisions on all disciplinary and academic matters (thru your convincing skills let the committee take decisions which you want “MONARCHY THRU DEMOCRACY!)
• Leave the college when you know that whatever you could do have done to improve the college have done and there are no more challenges, nothing more to learn, stayed for more than three years.
WHY I blog?
• I don’t blog hoping that one and all will read my blog and one day I will become a popular figure.
• I don’t blog for recognition and keeping in mind a commercial angle.
• I blog to express my inner thoughts.
• I blog hoping that some day when my daughter grows up and read my blog will get some lessons, when she is depressed she may get a hint of how to overcome that, when in doubt she may take a better decision and she may understand her father in a better way.
• I blog to improve my writing skills as I have a secret desire to be a writer.
To WHOM this blog is targeted:
• To my daughter so that she may become wiser.
• To my teammates so that they will realize why our boss is doing what he is doing.
• To my bosses who thru my blogs may realize my abilities
• To my prospective employers as an additional input
• To some extent to other likeminded bloggers on the net.
