pigs, airlines and couch potato !!!!

As usual my day started with newspaper reading, nature duties etc., and my wife was busy with her cooking and my daughter's school preparations. Suddenly a huge noice of wailing pigs which are aplenty in my colony started, to which i got irritated and said to my wife " so many pigs are there, colony people are not bothered about it", to which my wife said " just go out and have a look". I went out and saw three small pigs wailing as if they are in a mourning. My wife told me that just few minutes back their mother was taken away and they are crying for their mother. It moved me and made me realize the universal truth be it human or pigs love for their mother is same.


i am a new airline enthusiast who has joined the middle class airtravellers bandwagon because of you know why. suddenly the names air deccan,spice jet, jet airways have become so familiar. I was just two flight experience old when i experienced the following: Case 1. Flight Air Deccan, wife and eight year old daughter tagged along , going from hyderabad to mumbai, flight time 8 pm, arrived two hours late, all passengers rushed to it as if they are catching a mumbai train,to our horror the air hostess(already tired, irritated and vanishing makeup) told us that seats are free for all meaning you have to catch the seats like you catch them in a city bus. Phir Kya ! everybody rushed with their weapons(towels,newspapers,hand kerchief) to claim the seats. we tralevelled by sitting at three different far awy seats.
Case 2: I boarded the kingfisher airlines from bombay oops! mumbai to hyderabad. I was welcomed by the prettiest airhostess, was escorted to my seat. I was happy to see each seat had attached tv and saw people watching their favourite tv programs.We were offered welcome drink(some juice) and the best food with beautiful packing and by the time i was enjoying we reached hyderabad.


I am happy with whatever is happening on tv channels. star news always showing kidnaps, murders, rapes, divorces, eta kapoor's soaps showing characters meeting with accident, performing plastic surgery and resurfacing as new characters. Aaj tak busy with it's sting operations, sony,star, zee producing karunyas,abhijeets, mock fights between anu mallik and alisha, reality shows.
so stereotypical, so loud, so vulgar, so boring. Thanks to them all i am no more a tv addict. But there are exceptions like burkha dutts, cnn ibns!
